Louis Vuitton Maison London – Archive Film By James Lima & Sarah Grand

A sign that perhaps, the market for luxury goods is making a comeback, Louis Vuitton will be opening its first Maison London, a conceptualized retail flagship, in London today. Ahead of its official opening, LV commissioned visual artists James Lima and Sarah Grand in creating a short film on its merchandise archive from 1999 – 2010. A flash of colors juxtaposed against timeline and tidbits of information, the film is a rather abstract presentation of Louis Vuitton’s Ready To Wear Collection, that is more of a visual intrigue than a informational documentary.
