Starting next Wednesday for a period of three days only, Francois Pinault’s Palazzo Grassi in Venice will be welcoming the public to Takashi Murakami’s world. As Japanese contemporary Murakami (who is not only best known for his pop Japanese manga style, bold colors, imaginative narrative and work with Louis Vuitton) is an important part of the Francois Pinault Collection (Francois Pinault’s PPR Group also owns the Gucci Group), this exhibition which not only includes a display of work but also a series of events is extremely fitting for Palazzo Grassi.
